Dispersal of the Cremated Remains (Ashes)

The dispersal of the Ashes is the responsibility of the family. We provide Storage of Ashes in our Chapel of Rest, FREE for 6 months, there will be a charge of £10 for each additional month. 

Collection of Ashes from Chandu Tailor & Son 

It is our company policy that the Applicant is the person that has taken responsibility for the funeral arrangements by signing the following documents: 

  1. Chandu Tailor & Son Terms & Conditions 
  2. Authorisation of Disposal of Cremated Remains (Signed for the crematorium) 

The Applicant will be the ONLY person allowed to collect the Cremated Remains (Ashes) from us UNLESS we have prior written authorisation from the APPLICANT consenting and detailing who will collect the ashes on your behalf. This person must also provide a valid form of identification at collection. 

Ashes can be collected from our office Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm. We require 7 days notice prior to collection. Please also advise us if you intend to take them overseas. 

Scattering of Ashes in London 

You may scatter ashes in The River Thames. The companies listed below would allow you to hire their boats should you decide to do this.
