Dee has been instrumental with all the arrangements and ensuring that she was keeping in contact at all stages. This was my first experience of making funeral arrangements for a loved one and I was in need of guidance, which Dee fulfilled so well.

Jay, your two colleagues and Parth Mehta ensured that everything went smoothly on the day of the funeral. It was the most beautiful service which gave my parents and I such solace, in a time where the grief and pain we feel is unbearable and our hearts are broken.

I know that you would not usually come as far as Harlow, but you did. Not only do we appreciate that, but I know that my brother would too. My brother organised two funerals with you; my grandfather and my aunty’s stillborn baby, and he spoke so highly of both Chandu Uncle and Jay. We are so grateful.

We never knew that during such a sad time, there were people out there that could be so caring and professional. Dee and Jay were literally amazing throughout the whole process including our dad’s final journey to the crematorium which passed many of his favourite spots.

My fiancée’s family had used Chandu Tailor & Son previously for her father’s funeral. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be there for that, but my fiancée and I were now in the UK to plan her sister’s service. Due to circumstances surrounding the death, the process with the Coroner did not go smoothly and was fraught with delays. We planned in advance as much as we could, but ultimately everything we did had to be last-minute. Throughout the process, Jay guided us with a matter-of-fact, yet compassionate attitude. He confidently presented himself as an advocate for the family, stepping in and being a liaison between us and NHS, the Coroner, and the Crematorium. He even arranged to have the funeral service programs delivered directly from the printer to the parlor so we didn’t have to go pick them up.
Thank you Jay for making the process of dealing with a tragic situation as pain-free for our family as possible.
